Spring into it!

Hi everyone!

I’d like to introduce myself to those who don’t know me. I’m J and I like scale models (obviously, or it’d be a little silly to write about it if I didn’t)!

My journey in the hobby started roughly around 2018 with my interesting purchase of what I thought to be a boxed action figure. What a surprise it was to me when I opened the box and found runners! Stickers and All.

I was stumped in all honesty. A quick blip on google taught me that it was a scale model! One that I had to assemble! Another google search brought me to the fact that I had no nippers to use, which then led me to discover that I could use nail clippers. So after about two hours, I had this:

Back when my phone did not have the best of quality either. April 2018

A little, nub filled HG Iron-Blooded Orphan Vidar kit! This little hand bomb of a build help inspired (in a short little span of pictures) of other scale model branches and to minature painting! From some of the oldest to my most recent builds!

My first miniature (September 2017)
My first tank! (2017)
First custom paint (2019)

The goal I have planned for this blog is to discuss the builds, community, and events that surround this hobby. This may include and not limited to:

  • IPMS
  • Techniques
  • Interviews
  • Hobbyshop talk
  • and much more!

I look forward to the experiences that I can share with everyone who reads this and learning from this blog myself!

Have a great start of the week!

-J

  1. The style you apply to your work truly inspires me. Then you take it to another level with the quality and obvious effort of your work! Very excited to see what is to come!
