Let’s see what’s on the workbench!
I have a few fun projects going on at the moment that have been keeping me busy!
My current Warhammer project of mine is my Tyranid army. So the theme I chose for the army was Pretty Patty. Any primed minis were done in either Citadel scar white or Vallejo black. Some were airbrushed, rattle canned, or hand brushed on. Just so that it can be seen that you can hand prime minis without needing a ton of fancy equipment. I got the stick-on flower/grass tuffs from Amazon. I glued mine down for more added security, All paints used are acrylic. Specifically:
โ Vallejo
โ Citadel
โ Army Painter speed paints
โ Liquitex
I have come to love the speed paints that Army Painter has been making. They’re easy to brush on. The contrast is nice. It dries quickly as well.

I hand-primed this psychophage before layering pastel tones. The speed paint helped bring in some vibrant tones that made the model pop. I used speed paints on the yellow, blue, purple, and green parts. The pink was an oops I made. I bought a bottle of what I thought to be ink. Turns out I grabbed watercolor ink by accident. I started hand-painting a gloss coat on top of the pink, only for it to start shifting. A fun lesson was learned.
I used a brush to speckle on blood effects.

I did the same with this psychophage when I got the idea to paint it Trolli-themed.

Another few Tyranid examples are (because there are so many of them):
A nerd-themed neurotyrant. A blood orange-themed tyranid prime. A funky hive tyrant.

Gunpla
I haven’t done quite a bit when it comes to Gunpla. I’ve painted a few haros and started some projects. My hope is to complete some larger projects in the next few months before the Cerulean project starts.
Two of them are gourmet haros. I love silly dessert designs and aim to replicate them! They could be better, but I’m working on it.
The next is a Prisma build. Two petit beargguys fell victim to the Prisma.

One tool that I added to my tool belt is a 3D pen. It’s helped make Prisma-related builds. I have two at the moment that are in the gooping stage. Making the standing fungus was a learning curve. As for the paint and dioramas, I have no idea what I’m going to do for them so far. I’ll update you when I do.
(I may or may not have burned a few fingers)
