Have you ever wanted to open your own game store, only to realize you have the business skills of a five-year-old with a โlemonadeโ stand?
I have, which is why I love games like TCG Card Shop Simulator.
TCG Card Shop Simulator by OPNeon Games is a game you can stock and grow your own local game store. You can sell things like deck boxes, booster packs, and other hobby equipment around a TCG game called Tetramon.

I played it for a couple of hours after getting it off of Steam (I think it was 12.99?). I love it.

It’s not a hard game, in my opinion. It’s becoming one of my favorite games of the year. Customers come in and buy the stuff you sell. There’s restocking shelves and ordering products. You can rip open booster packs to sell singles. If you decide to buy tables, NPC can even play this game at your shop.

One also has to pay rent and electricity in this game too. The rent increases whenever the store is expanded. Unlocking store B (next to the current store) does the same. I use store B as a storage stock area.
The expansions are fun! It allows me more space to add shelves and rearrange my stock however I like it. I focus on selling single cards, which adds to my daily profit.

Bulk boxing is also an available option in this game! You can bulk cards to sell at different price tiers.

You have to avoid bad reviews by keeping smelly people from being smelly, making sure your prices are right, and keeping the lights on when they need to be on.

The graphics aren’t terrible. Some glitches are humorous, and the models have the right level of funny uncanny valley.

It is still an early version of the game that is being consistently updated. New products are being added. Bugs being fixed.

I have sinned, according to some of my gaming friends, by adding some simple mods. One for moving the trash can from outside. Another is for choosing cash or card payments. I decided to go with all card payments. One mod I specifically like is holding more booster packs when ripping them.
The last mod is box recycling. You earn cash, experience, and random gifts when you throw out a box.
Some mods let you run a Pokรฉmon shop, Yu-Gi-Oh shop, and so on.

Some things I think would be fun to add:
โ Multiplayer mode. It would be fun to potentially run a shop with a friend or be friendly rivals. Or hear me out, you become a menace and rob your friend’s store.
โ Different store layouts or expansions. You can only expand the store in one direction.
โ Being able to play the TCG with a bot or another friend.
โEvents or specials.
โ Maybe an add-on where you can add posters or signs to the store windows.
I’d give this an 8/10 at this stage of updates. If you like simulator games, then you might like this one too!
