Local Hobbyist caught spending money while claiming to be on a “spending hiatus”: “Yeah, but I need this for an event.”

BOSTON- A local hobbyist was caught purchasing a new Psychophage this Sunday evening, despite their claims that they wouldn’t spend any money on new models or kits this month until their backlog was gone.

When asked why they spent money instead of using their backlog, we were met with “What, you expect me to use a Tau model for the Cerulean project this year? For a charity event? I’m bad with money, but I’m not a monster.”

We reached out to family members, who claim that this wasn’t a surprise, and it’s typical Tyranid player behavior. They seemed to be more concerned about the Tau miniatures, which the hobbyist claimed that “it doesn’t belong to them”.
