It’s been a minute

It’s been a minute since our last post and batch of hobby confessions. A little over two months, if I did the math correct.

I just wanted to give a small update as I attempt to get back on the horse with posting again. Over the last two months I’ve been actively trying to use as little social media as I can. Mainly just for a well needed screen break and to help combat some growing social burn out. I’ve also been wedding planning. Exciting, but planning does often tucker me out.

I cut out most socials. Twitter has been long gone. Tiktok deleted, along with Instagram. Currently, I’m just on a few platforms such as bluesky, tumblr, reddit, cara, and youtube.)

The small break has helped with reconnecting with art, predominately fiber arts and even gunpla. Finally started working on some projects that have been collecting dust. Giving my hands a work out with yarn spinning and hand quilting.

Thanks to everyone who popped in and asked where I had gone. New confessions will start around the new year, along with new posts (looking forwards to more artist interviews) . If there’s anything you would like to see in particular, let me know.

In the meantime, enjoy some pics of recent events and projects I’ve been working on:

This was from Pat Con this year! I finally made it! It was great seeing internet friends for the first time in real life! I didn’t bring anything to compete with, only for display. Mainly because I sponsored a category this year.

I’m second from the right top row, wearing my premonition of paint shirt, holding a goopy boy!

A rad blog post to check out from friends of the page:
