Tyranid Saturday (The Pretty Patty Fleet Grows)

A quick little update on the Tyranid paint jobs!

I built up the Norn Emissary and primed it. The Norn paint scheme was inspired by pop rock candy packaging. The tail came out well because I’ve never blended paint like this on a miniature.

I use acrylic and speed paints for all my Tyranids, in case anyone’s wondering.

I’m not sure if I’m going to put it on the base rock it comes with or make something new for it. The Norn will still get pretty flowers.

The Trolli-inspired Psychophage is done for now. The problem I currently have with the Tyranids is overworking the model to the point where I dislike the paint job, so I would rather not do more to it. It just needs some smaller terrain pieces painted, a gloss coat, and the floral base.

The blood orange-inspired winged Tyranid Prime is done! Much like the psychopage, this is pretty basic, but I liked how it came out. I didn’t have any flowers to put on its base, so it got a basic grass one.
