It has been a hot minute since I posted here, hasn’t it?
I would like to start off by saying I have missed running this blog and interacting with all the wonderful readers as well. Life has been interesting the last few months, to say the least between job changes and an ever-changing social sphere.
Unfortunately, art and scale modeling needed to be moved off the heat and moved to the back burner for said time. Not due to a lack of want, just a lack of time to soak in creative juices (Art-wise). This doesn’t mean I haven’t been doing anything creative at all.
Luckily, I have been able to touch roots with a few other neglected aspects of my life, such as my NaNoWriMo project to prep for this year and a few other smaller world-building projects. My current work-in-progress novel is sitting around 50k words at the current moment. Will I ever publish it? Probably not, but it is near and dear to me. There is a level of satisfaction with the worldbuilding to it that I am not sure I’ll ever achieve.

Potentially putting it out as a free or pay-as-you-want novel is an interesting concept I might investigate if I do ever get to that point. Books are expensive, even digital copies!
I do think I am in a spot to comfortably ease back into scale modeling and art again. There have been a million and one ideas swirling in my noggin that I would love to put on plastic (as well as finish current bench projects!).
Livestreams and artist interviews are on hiatus still as my laptop decided to die. Thanks to Z, a wonderful hobby friend, who gifted it to me at the start of my college endeavors. I do not know what I would’ve done without it (cried probablyโฆ definitely).
My current Cerulean project is a prime-time example as well as updates on how O.M.C. has been doing! The Build for The Kids 2023 prize raffle stream will happen as soon as my new laptop comes in (this was written on my phone, thanks to word press’ nifty app)! We have had a lot of wonderful support on that and made a nice donation to St. Jude’s cancer research.
As for the blog, I have a whole platter of topics to serve to you all as we hit the two year mark! I am thankful for each and every reader that has stuck around or given it a minute of their lives. This wouldn’t be anything without you!
I look forward to what the future brings!
