It’s wrapped! Completed! Slap a bow on it!
For a quick recap about the Cerulean Project:
The Cerulean Project is a community-based art exhibit featuring builders from across the globe. This exhibit is both featured online and in a printed book. The focus of this project is on building a strong healthy community while also raising awareness for mental health. The book and project provide mental health resources and break down the stigma that surrounds mental health.
I know I didn’t write much about my entry this year but here it is:

Paints Used:
- Abaddon Black (Citadel)
- 114 Quinacridone Magenta (Liquitex)
- 985 Fluorescent Green (Liquitex)
- Caliban Green (Citadel)
- Greedy Gold (Army Painter)
- Emperor’s Children (Citadel)
- Bone Primer (Vallejo)
Overall feelings:
I liked how this came out despite initial hesitations. It was just me throwing myself into this build with no restraints. Luckily the outcome was awesome and I am also happy with how the photos came out. This year’s project fits into my photo booth!
The meaning behind this is one of personal growth. Last year was the focus of growing with my grief but this year was growing with happiness. It revolves around growing to love things about myself. I am weird and quirky. That’s okay. I am loved and deserve to be loved no matter what. I’ve talked a lot about unmasking this year to be my authentic self and this is the monument to that.
It was a bright contrast compared to the year prior.

Yes, do I sometimes have odd hyperfixations and a little socially awkward? Sure! Those traits just make me, well, me! It’s what I love the most about me!
If you would like to get a copy of the book (and magazine) check it out here! Each purchase donates to the Trevor project!
Big shoutout to Salty for running this event!
