8 Pokémon that I’d eat (from Gen 3)

At this point, I’ve spoken about Pokémon from Gen 1 and Gen 2. It would only be fair that I do this for all the current generations (and future ones as well). There are no limits to these, besides some being the rock and metal types. I swallowed a quarter as a kid, and metal doesn’t like my stomach. I’ve discussed various creatures I’d like to eat in the past, such as Tyranids.

1. Seedot

I think I’d either grill this one or smoke it, like a brisket. I would smoke it with pecan. Also, I’d let the seasoning chill on this for about a day.

Things I would make with a smoked a Seedot:

— Pulled Seedot Sandwich with coleslaw and sauce.

— Chopped smoked Seedot served with baked beans and coleslaw. Cornbread too.

— Mac and Cheese topped with crispy onions and smoked Seedot.

2. Shroomish

Shroomish is giving me soup vibes. Big soup vibes. Chowder vibes too.

Things I would make with a Shroomish:

— Cream of Shroomish soup. Served with crispy bread.

— Hungarian Shroomish soup.

— Garlic Roasted Shroomish.

— Corphish stuffed Shroomish.

3. Spoink

I think I’d go with smoking again as well as normal cooking. Same with using pecan wood again. I’d also make Spoink bacon.

Things I would make with a Spoink:

— Honey glazed Spoink.

— Brown sugar garlic Spoink roast, served with baby carrots and peas.

— Mongolian Spoink with rice.

4. Swablu

I’m not sure if the wings are edible or how much meat is on them. I’m going under the assumption there’s plenty of meat on it.

Things I would make with a Swablu:

— Swablu tacos with elote.

— General Tso’s Swablu.

— Fried Swablu served with mashed potatoes and corn.

5. Corphish

You know what I’m thinking? Corphish boil. Purge it. Boil some water with some veggies and seasoning. Then throw it into the boil. Cook til it’s done.

Things I would make with a Corphish:

— Corphish Rangoon

— Corphish Dip

— Corphish Stuffed Mushrooms

6. Feebas

I feel like Feebas are based off of a Bass. Probably is. There are a few ways I’d cook a Feebas.

Things I would make with a Feebas:

— Pan seared Feebas served with a loaded baked potato.

— Roasted Feebas with tomatoes, potatoes, and fennel. Lemon on the side.

— Deep fried Feebas with fries and a veggie side. Sounds weird, but I like broccoli with fried fish.

7. Clamperl

Love clams! Some of my favorite aquatic foods.

Things I would make with a Clamperl:

— Linguine with Clamperl with a white wine sauce.

— Steamed Clamperl with garlic, butter, and lemon.

— New England style Clamperl chowder in a bread bowl.

8. Cacnea

I’ve had Nopales before, so I can only imagine that Cacnea may have a similar texture to it.

Things I would make with a Cacnea:

— I think I would just do a simple grill on it. Oil and seasoning.

— Take the grilled Cacnea and throw it into a taco.

— A nice summer style Cacnea salad would be good too. Plenty of fresh vegetables tossed in.
